When we left off yesterday, Saul was sitting in Damascus waiting for the Lord Jesus to send someone to restore his site. He was deep in meditation and prayer as we find out from our Bible verse for today. It seems that Saul is in the middle of his conversion. He knows he is a sinner.

I am so excited about Saul and his conversion on the road to Damascus. Many of you are probably wondering why I continue to call him Saul so I will tell you the answer. All you had to do was ask. See Paul did not receive his name change until Acts 13 so at this point he is still Saul. Please note that his change of name occurred once he began his ministry. We also started to see how we too, sometimes take off down the road to Damascus on our journey to do things our way. We were getting ready to find out what God does in these situations. Does everyone have an enLIGHTening experience along the way? Let’s study more about this experience. Continue Reading »

They were given the authority to go there and bring back all the Christians that were there and they were to use force if need be. Now I really want to make a couple of important points right here that are easily overlooked. Continue Reading »
