UPDATES FROM THE DESK OF CATHY
Well for those of you who have been following along I just wanted to post some updates as to what is going on around here.
First and most important is that we now have aplan for each week as to what will be posted on each day. as I spent yesterday in prayer and meditation God gave me somethings He wanted for this sight. The following is a list of what you can expect to see on any certain day of the week starting Friday December 5, 2008.
Sunday = We will post the memory verse for the week. It will be found at the end of each post for the rest of the week. We will begin a Bible study for this week.
Monday = Pt2 of the Bible study. Do not forget to memorize your weekly verse
Tuesday = Testimony Tuesday is your day where we will be posting testimonies and praise reports sent in by you so be sure to get those to me ASAP e-mail to cathyisgodschild@live.com subject my testimony for God
Wednesday = How to apply what we learned in the Bible study for the week to our everyday life. I will include examples from my own life. this will keep me accountable to you.
Thursday = Weekly challenge to you the reader. This could be anything and may include some kind of game or activity for you to do on your own or with family or friends.
Friday = I will be searching the news to find God working in the lives of others or relevant stories to our walk with the Lord.
Saturday = Review + a poll for you to see how you are doing. Also fill in the blank for your memory verse.
Daily = I will be posting the memory verse at the end of each post plus you will find a helpful daily verse or reading at the beginning of each post.
Second was my trial for my unemployment. I think it went pretty well, however it is still in God’s hands. I had to practice knowing when to keep quiet. For those of you who know me personally you know that was quite a chore. I prayed before the trial that God would give the judge the “wisdom of Solomon”. We will know how it came out in a couple of days. The big thing was their admitting that they would not have fired me had things happened the way i said they did. Basically they had decided that I lied. the judge only wanted facts and not hearsay which was very cool, since their whole case was based on hearsay. I will let you know whe I do.
Challenge for this week is to read Psalm 139 as that will be the first of our studies. Leave me a message in the comments as to what you got out of this Psalm.

I love your blog! I love the plan you have layed out for daily bible study! This is a Fantastic plan and a great way for so many to study together since you have made it interactive!
I also love the widget you have…. the Shout Mix…. I will have to get that for my blog!
One thing… I wanted to subscribe to your blog so that I could get daily reminders and wouldn’t forget to come every day (I haven’t subscribed to anyone’s blog because I don’t have time, so this says a lot about how I feel about your blog) and I couldn’t find a place where I could subscribe? I know you have the “add this” button, but then for someone who isn’t sure about that, they may not know what to click. (like me!) So, if you include something that allows people to just enter their email address then we could all subscribe much easier and come back more often! (I have a widget on my sites that you can see and get if you like)
Finally, (I know… this comment has turned into a book! LOL)
