CONVICTION VERSES CONDEMNATION
Today I will give a a little start concerning conviction verses condemnation. Well, because NaBloPoMo is almost over I simply could not skip writing today. I am so sorry that it is not going to be as long as usual. To tell you the truth I am in the middle of a very serious study and am hoping to be able to get it to you soon. Right now I will touch briefly in what got me started on this deep study. I have had trouble for a long time with condemnation. I know that the word of God says that there is now therefore no condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus.
I have a tendency to concern myself with whether or not I am in Christ. Let me clarify: I know that I am a child of God and that He loves me and I am saved. I just always want to do the right thing and when I do not I get convicted. I repent but Satan keeps bringing it back into my mind and that causes me to repent again and again. That is not what Jesus intended us to do I know that. We go fishing in the sea of forgetfulness. For all you fishermen, that is the easiest place to catch fish in all creation. If you cast your line in there you are sure to catch something. The problem is that there is nothing in there worth keeping. That is why god throws all our sins in there. He no longer remembers them.
Satan won’t forget them and he attempts to make sure you do not forget them either thus we have condemnation. That is his job as the accuser of the brethren. The Holy Spirit convicts us. Satan condemns us and and we help him. So any way I am doing a deep study on that plus I am trying to understand a term called “radical grace”. As I learn more I will pass it on.
Remember conviction verses condemnation. Are you being convicted by the Holy Spirit for something new that you need to repent of? Or, are you experiencing condemnation by Satan for something that you have already repented of. If that is the case tell him to leave you alone in the Name of Jesus Christ. Please pray for me as I go through this study. I do not want to get it wrong.
